Clothing
For Summer Months: Pack bright colored, loose cotton clothing, a bathing suit and comfortable walking shoes if you plan on taking any guided tours. Also bring some protection from the sun such as sun glasses and sun screen.
For Winter Months: Pack at least one sweater or jacket for the cool winter night, also if you are planning on climbing Mount Sinai as the temperature might be partially chilly on top of the mountain. If you are planning on taking any guided tours be sure to pack comfortable walking shoes suitable for walking in sand, sun screen also bathing suit if your itinerary includes touring Upper Egypt.
Ladies modesty in clothing is recommended during tours of the city. Beachwear is not suitable during city tours. Beaches and resorts are more laid back and have the same beach culture as anywhere else in the world.
